Polyurea systems are an excellent solution for roof waterproofing. However, they ‎face strong competition from other technical alternatives available on the market. ‎In many projects, the higher productivity and rapid curing at the time of ‎application are not always sufficient to offset the higher costs (equipment, ‎materials…) compared to other solutions, such as cold-applied liquid ‎membranes. This presentation will introduce two alternative approaches to the ‎traditional system, aimed at simplifying and reducing the number of steps in the ‎polyurea application process, thereby lowering overall costs: expandable ‎polyureas and polyureas with a metallic finish.‎
